Rafting - Questions & answers
Yes. The meet up point of our rafting trips are is at Trysil turistsenter. From there we drive to the starting point of the trip. On our family rafting it’s approximately 20 km to the starting point, on the full day trip it’s approximately 80 km. To the canyoning trip approximately 40 km. If you don’t have access to transport, contact us in good time before the trip to discuss options.
You will get to borrow wetsuit, helmet and life vest. You should bring your own shoes to be used on the water, that will become wet. The shoes need to have laces, or Velcro to ensure a good fit. . If the weather/water temperature is cool or if you freeze easily, we recommend a base layer of wool or synthetic fibers underneath the wetsuit. Cotton underneath the wet suit is not recommended as it doesn’t provide insulation when wet.

The rafting season is usually from the end of May until mid-October depending on the weather.
The trip can be cancelled if the minimum number of participants is not reached or because of safety reasons. We always try to come up with an alternative time, activity or offer a refund.
Bike - Questions & answers
No, but we can recommend our partners at Sportlodgen who have a wide range of bikes suitable for the biking in and around Trysil bike arena.
No, most trails in Trysil bike arena is accessible without the lift. But if you want to use the lift during your lesson you need a lift pass.
Ski - Questions & answers
Level 1 – Beginner. Need to learn the basis, breaking, turning use the lift.
Level 2- Know the basics. Know how to use the lift and can break and turn in green/blue slopes.
Level 3 – Intermediate. Know how to ski with control in most slopes.
Level 4 – Advanced. Can ski all slopes with good control and speed.
Yes, everybody who ski in the resort need to have a valid ski pass if they are 7 years or older. (Not for cross country)
No, as long as the lifts are open the ski school will run as planned. We will adapt the lesson to open lifts and current weather conditions. We highly recommend that you dress yourself / your kids well to have a good learning experience.
